I've got a question about ORDERING, PAYMENT, SHIPPING, RETURNS, GIFTS.

ORDERING
How do I place an order?
Just click on the shopping cart icon next to the item. You’ll be directed to your shopping cart, where the item you ordered is placed. You can either continue shopping, or proceed to check out. When checking out please makes sure all the items in your cart are correct. At the check out fill in all your details and just follow the instructions. Easypeasy!

How do I cancel an order?
While shopping you can cancel an item by changing the quantity to zero and click RECALCULATE. Should you change your mind after you’ve completed your order you should contact us immediately. If the order hasn’t been shipped we can cancel it.

I would like to buy rather large quantities. Is this possible?

(Un)fortunately there isn't a Dutch Dolls factory producing Dutch Dolls products. Everything is made in small numbers, so our stock is somewhat limited. If you would like to buy more than 5 pieces of the same item (say 5 yellow medium sized t-shirts, or 5 fried egg cushions), please contact us before ordering to make arrangements.

PAYMENT

What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Paypal. Via Paypal you can pay with a creditcard or debitcard. It’s a VERY SAFE way of buying things online. Learn more about Paypal here.
For customers within the EU we also accept bank transfers in advance. After you checked out we will send you an email with our bank details, including IBAN and BIC-code when ordering outside the Netherlands. Please note that your order will be canceled if payment isn’t received within 7 days.

SHIPPING
How much are the shipping and handling costs?
The exact shipping costs will show up when you add items to your cart. Please make sure to select the right destination from the drop down menu (Netherlands/Europe/Outside Europe) and click on RECALCULATE. By buying more items at once you might be able to save on the shipping costs.

Do the shipping costs include insurance?
No, the shipping costs are based on STANDARD shipping rates provided by the Dutch postal service. These are the cheapest rates available. Once we have shipped your ordered we can't be held responsible for any loss or damage. If you would like to have your shipping insured, contact us before ordering to get a quote on PRIORITY shipping.

DELIVERY
When will my item be shipped?
We do our very best ship your purchase as soon as possible. In case there's a delay putting your items in the mail, we will inform you via email. (Please note that some items are made to order. This is stated within the product description. Please allow a couple of days for your item to be made).

Can I pick up my order?
Dutch Dolls HQ is in Rotterdam. If you would like to buy items and collect them in person, please do not order through the webshop, but contact us to make an appointment. You can pay cash upon pick up.

RETURNS
What if I would like to return my purchase?
If you for any reason regret your purchase (not very plausible, but okay…), please let us know as soon as possible (but within a week after your order!) by contacting us. You can then send the item back, at your own expense. The item needs to be returned in the original condition.

What if something is wrong with my purchase?
We put a lot of love and care in our products, but just in case something is wrong, please contact us as soon as possible (but within a week after your order!) and tell us what is wrong. When it turns out to be a manufacturing fault we will refund your purchase and shipping costs.

GIFTS

Can you giftwrap for me?
Of course, Dutch Dolls items make great gifts! So will giftwrap it for FREE!! When checking out just leave a message in the box provided saying which item(s) you would like to have giftwrapped.

My purchase is a gift, can you send it to the lucky one?
Yes, when filling out your details upon check out you can enter a billing address and a shipping address. Fill in the lucky one’s address as the shipping address.

With the giftwrap comes a Dutch Dolls postcard. You can leave us a message telling what should be on the card. (Don't forget your name, otherwise the lucky one doesn't know who the gift is from ;-)
