In October 2008 and April 2009 we were invited back by the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam to give another workshop during their'project week'.

This time the the project was about Culural Diversity. The assignment: wander through the streets of Rotterdam, and use its imagery as a source of inspiration for a new Dutch Dolls collection. Create a new (tongue in cheeky) design by combining juxtaposed techniques, themes and/or materials.

Surprising results! Boerenbont tagine, the game Who am I got an update, Aap Noot Mies got urbanized, a beautiful batik inspired by the traditional Dutch hankerchief, and an outdoor prayer rug... Well done guys!
