Dutch Dolls are proud to present Blanche – a Rollin’ soundsystem, inspired by Jamaican street culture! Let the good times roll!!! As you know we're always on the lookout for typically Dutch and old-fashioned things to give them an unexpected and contemporary twist. So for our latest project we took a very dull rollator/walker, painted it pink and kitted it out with a 1150 watt amplifier, a 500 watt bass tube (in a leopard suit), 2 CD players, a megaphone, siren and a heavy duty battery. We named her Blanche, after the foxy Golden Girl. Now Dutch Dolls are able to party, in the park, on the beach, at your granny’s house or in your living room! As true Golden Girls we stroll behind the walker in style, playing a nice mix of old reggae, boogaloo, dub, rocksteady, dancehall, soca, steel drum funk and all the other things that make you feel so good!
